With a preference for real estate law, notary Roberto Aspri has played a significant role in the development of innovative and creative financial solutions in the real estate industry. Mtre Aspri is the founder and president of the Union des Notaires du Québec (UNQ), which has become a cornerstone of the notarial community thanks to his visionary leadership. The UNQ represents the socio-economic and moral interests of notaries and vigorously defends their rights in Quebec, thanks to the implementation of the Notarial Practice Recovery Plan (2015), marking a decisive step for the profession. Furthermore, the historic alliance between the UNQ and the Fédération des travailleurs et travailleuses du Québec (FTQ) in 2020 is a testament to a strong commitment to promoting the interests of notaries on a large scale.

Beyond his long legal career (having been admitted to the profession in 1976), Mtre Aspri is distinguished by his exemplary dedication to the community and his valuable Italian heritage. As president of the Order of the Sons of Italy in Canada from 1988 to 2006, he played a key role in fostering a strong sense of community within the Italian diaspora. His tireless efforts have been recognized and rewarded by the Government of Canada, which awarded him the prestigious Centennial Medal in the year 2000.
